COMBINATION TREATMENT

To bring about an enhanced appearance, combination treatments can be applied, such as Dermal Fillers and Ant-wrinkle injections.

At Airesthetics we use the world-renowned and popular Princess® LFL Lift, developed by Croma-Pharma in Austria

Darker skin types usually start to show facial aging a decade later than most Caucasian skins.

The areas that we treat with PDO threads are also the areas most affected by aging, such as the neck that begins to droop, sagging of the cheek and jawline which tends to form nasolabial folds (folds between the nose and corner of the mouth) and jowls.

How is the treatment performed?

We apply a local anesthetic to limit discomfort. PDO threads are then inserted into the skin layers using cannulas, which are sharp or blunt tipped needles.

With the threads anchored into the skin, the threads then perform an upward lifting effect. The excess threads are then cut off.

This revolutionary procedure can be performed in just 30 minutes to one or two hours, depending on the area to be treated.

Is the treatment Safe?

The superior quality of our Ultra-Thin Wall Needle allows treatment to be simple, effective and painless.

Since PDO threads are inserted via needles and not via traditional surgery, and are naturally absorbed by the skin, many of the side effects associated with older thread lifting procedures, such as skin infection and thread breakage, is a thing of the past.

Minimal bruising may or may not occur. Some patients experience mild swelling and redness in the area for 3 to 5 days after the procedure. You may experience a mild sensation of “skin tightness”, which is normal, for up to 14 days.

We do not perform Thread Lifts on any patients with an auto-immune disease, hepatitis B and C, HIV infection, those that are pregnant and/or breastfeeding, on anti-coagulation therapy, present existing infection and have a history of keloid formation.

The risks and complications will be discussed with you in detail during your consultation, at which time we will assess your suitability for the procedure.
