PRP therapy is a treatment which stimulates collagen and elastin production by activating the body’s natural healing cascade to accelerate skin rejuvenate and anti-aging.

The treatment has also been referred to as the “Vampire Facelift”, where it became very popular amongst socialites and celebrities like Kim Kardashian.

As we age our bodies lose the ability to deliver the same levels of oxygen or stimulate collagen and the result is an aged skin and loss of elasticity and volume.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a treatment protocol whereby we re-inject plasma, rich in platelets, several growth factors and other cytokines, which have been harvested from your own body into an area for rejuvenation and tissue regeneration.

The benefits further extend to wound healing, treating minor sports injuries and bone regeneration.*

How is the treatment performed?

We draw a small amount of your own blood using a needle and syringe, very similar to a blood test in hospital. Through a process of using centrifugal force, we separate the blood from the growth factors, platelets and stem cells. This separated mixture is then re-injected into the areas where skin rejuvenation is needed most.

How many treatment sessions are required?

We recommend a treatment protocol consisting of three or four treatments, separated by three to four weeks.

You should continue to see improved results for up to 6 months.*

Maintenance treatments are optional, but highly recommended for on-going skin rejuvenation.

Is the treatment Safe?

Since we use your blood, this ensures a zero risk of allergic reactions and/or contamination. Downtime is a little longer compared to other techniques, like PDO threads or Fillers, but the benefits are well worth it. We will discuss all your concerns during the consultation.
